2008 Election Victories and Results

Pro-choice Americans voted for change in 2008, electing a pro-choice president and new pro-choice members of Congress. The results show that Americans want leaders who will work together to reduce unintended pregnancy and end the divisive attacks on a woman's right to choose.

The 111th Congress

Ballot measures

South Dakotans - thanks in large part to the efforts of NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota and its allies - rejected another attempt by the radical right to ban abortion by referendum in the state.  Voters in Colorado and California also rejected their anti-choice initiatives.
